Rikki Butt was born in Newfoundland in 1980. She is a freelance location photographer with 6 years of hands on experience specializing in nature and portrait photography. She is a self taught artist. Photography was a hobby of hers from a young age. Four years ago she purchased her first SLR digital camera which allowed her to upgrade her hobby to a paid occupation. She has been hired to take school photos, weddings, nature shots, event photography and portraits.

 Rikki has spent the last four years travelling from Canada's east coast to Canada's northern communities. Travelling and meeting new subjects has given her the chance to broaden her skills in several area's of photography.

 Seeking inspiration from established photographers, she often participates in conferences that keep her up to date with technology, software and posing options.
